A Lecture Series on the Taoist & Neo-Taoist Philosophy

Yasuhiko Genku Kimura

For over two millennia, before the culturally exogenous advancement of modernity, Tao Teh Ching had nurtured the Chinese (and other Oriental) people in the development of deep wisdom.

For over two centuries, during the culturally endogenous advancement of modernity, Tao Teh Ching has inspired the educated Western mind in the development of universal wisdom.

What can Tao Teh Ching offer us living in this 21st century postmodern technoscientific world?

What can we each learn from Tao Teh Ching and the Taoist & Neo-Taoist philosophy in general?

In this lecture series, Yasuhiko Genku Kimura will offer you an original contemporary interpretation of this timeless Chinese classic and provide you with a forum in which to answer the questions for yourself.

The lecture series consists of 12 ninety-minute lectures, 2 lectures per month, for 6 months.
